Question For Birch Or Anyone Else Who Knows About Cats Posted: 10-23-07 10:24am
So my cat who has intelligence challenges
was just neutered yesterday. When can I
expect him to stop desecrating my house?
He is 4 months old now. I hope we can
survive his childhood and help him become
the polite kitty that I know is lurking
beneath his rather insane character.
Also, any advice on how to help he and my
smallest child be more gently with each
other?

cats have different personlitites, some do
calm down some dont. your just gonna have
to wait till he grows out of his kitten
attitude. as for kids and cats...kids are
rough when it comes to animals, they pull
their fur, poke them, etc. so naturally
the cat has to defend itself. cats arent
like dogs were they.ll just ignore the
torture from kids. try to teach your
little one to be nicer to the cat, not to
bug it too much and the cat will naturally
jus stay away and be nicer
