Rapid Weight Loss And Change In Taste And Breath Odor Posted: 01-15-05 16:29pm
I'm not quite sure what to think anymore
since my family thinks i'm doing something
to make me lose weight. I went from 134
lbs. To 102 lbs. In a matter of 3 months
without changing any eating, drinking, or
exercising routines. My husband says that
my mouth "odor" is different ( not saying
I have really bad breath), but that it's
changed. I'm almost 35 and have never had
any dental hygiene problems( not even a
cavity). My physician ran some tests
including a tsh & comprehensive
metabolic panel, but results were normal.
Tsh=0.53 and glucose=79.All blood levels
were normal.
What is really bothering me is that I
read on the website about hypothyroid
problems and I do have most of the
symptoms. I feel tired all the time, take
medication for anxiety and depression, and
I have a pain in my left shoulder socket
and my right hip socket. What should I do
about talking to my Dr.About running more
tests? Should what she's done be enough
to say everything's okay with me? I am
now wondering if i'm alright (like my
family) because i'm not gaining weight ,
but I eat more than I did before. Does
anyone have any answers for me? I really
appreciate it. Thank you.
