Probably not. The risk of undercooked meat
would be to yourself.

The problem with the raw meat is that of
bacterial contamination. If it was
contaminated throwing up was not going to
save you from infection.

How did you manage to eat the whole thing
before realizing it was undercooked?

Well, I was at work. I didn't look at the
burger meat when I was eating it.. I just
happened to notice it.. I was pretty busy
though. Eating on the run didn't think to
look it over before I ate it.. Thought
that the resturant would cook the meat. Oh
well! I definitly should
have looked. When I cook at home I am so
particular! Therefore I should have been
more responsible!

I was terrified. It didn't make me sick
though. So, I don't think it would hurt
the baby. The doc said it would take about
4 hours for my body to start to digest the
protine.. Time would tell... I was pretty
scared though. WHen I did a search I saw
ecoli, birth defects. I did email the
resturant. When I brought the burger back
and showed the girl. I was pretty scared.
I asked her some questions she didn't know
what to say. She didn't even appoligize
for the uncooked meat.. Just gave me my
money back. So, I iwll never ever go back
to that resturant!

You know, I've heard of pregnant women
CRAVING raw hamburger meat as gross as it
sounds...
Beef is usually okay when it isn't
thoroughly cooked.... people eat rare
steaks all the time.
It's pork and chicken that you have to
worry about...
Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

the problem with hamburger is its GROUND
meat, the problem with beef is e. coli
posioning, in ground meat the (possible)
e. coli will be everywhere in the meat
(does that make sence? i can find links
that explain it better if you want)
however thats oviously not the case here
since your fine hun, done worry i got
selmonella poisoning when i was preg (the
whole peanut butter thing from last year,
yeah i got really sick) and both my
daughter and i are fine
