recurring cluster warts and individual warts Posted: 03-04-08 17:27pm
If anyone out there can help, i have a
friend who has a problem with re-occuring
cluster warts and individual warts. As a
child she had 2 removed and recently they
have come back on the tips of her fingars,
they are itchy, and leak a clear liquid.
she would like to do this naturally.
Could it be a blood disorder? Any one have
any ideas? thanks ww

Cluster warts are actually an occurrence
when a number of plantar warts group
together into a cluster. A wart is a
fleshy growth on the skin caused by
infection with the human papilloma virus
(HPV), not a blood disorder. Treatment
for this skin condition can take weeks or
months. Some treatment options include:
* Salicylic acid (12 weeks or more
before the wart disappears)
* Repeat daily after washing.
* Rub dead skin off once a week with a
pumice stone or emery board.
* Apply duct tape
* Cryotherapy
* Silver nitrate pencil

thank-u for that information, i will let
my friend know, she has had them removed
when she was young and now they have come
back with a vengence and are very itchy,
and leak a clear fluid. I told her to see
a skin doctor, but here in canada we have
to wait about 6 to 8 months to see a
specialist.. We are supposed to have the
best health care, which we do, but
politics want to keep a totally public
system, which is over run with baby
boomers.. thanks again ww

Sure thing, WW. Be sure to let her know
that they ARE contagious, so she'll want
to isolate the area and see a
dermatologist ASAP!
