A red, painful lump under the armpit could
indicate a hair root infection (furuncle)
or sebaceal gland infection. It is
likely you will probably need antibiotics
(oral and local), local cold compresses,
and surgical incision, if necessary to
treat this red, painful, lump.
You may want to visit your GP to check my
suspicions.
