Ok, my doctor told me to stop taking the birth control pill yesterday and lose weight to get by BP down. I was a little disappointed to go off the pill because I have my wedding planned around my cycle (without the pill I'm very irregular). She told me if I can lose at least 10% of my body weight (about 20 pounds) and can get my BP down, then I can go back on the pill for a few months before my wedding to get me regular again. She told me to stay away from food that's high in sodium as well. Can anyone tell me the best way to lose weight? I find I'm very tired when I get home from work. I have to get active again. I don't like running or joining gyms, but I'm thinking of taking swimming lessons (never did as a kid) or maybe Jujitsu. Are any of these good for losing weight? I know it's expensive, but I'm thinking of going back on Jenny Craig because I know it works (I lost about 30 pounds last time I was on it). I need something. Any suggestions would be great.

Marial Arts, Kick Boxing... things like that are great for losing weight. Add in a 30 minute walk every evening or every other evening along with diet and you should find yourself getting fit in no time.
