i thought i was given medication after
getting mine out but its been a while,
anyway after the medication i just took
tylenol..i remember that night after the
general anesthetic wore off it was
HORRIBLE, this dull aching pain felt like
my entire head was throbbing...after the
tylenol i was fine...ugh, i cringe of
going through that again i dont think i've
had jello or instant mashed potatoes ever
since haha, thats all i could manage to
eat for a while!..i feel your pain :/

At first it was cold packs, followed by
warm compresions. That was almost 30
someing years ago. I would all your
dentist and ask what you can do for the
sweling. I'd think a cold ice pack would
feel comforting and reduce the
swelling........Good pain meds work
wonders.....I'd take them with a little
wine and I would not worry about looking
like a chipmunk.....swelling goes down
after a day or two...just take it easy on
yourself!
