Hey there!
A rescue inhaler isn't going to save you
in the long run. I'd recommend speaking
with a doctor about Advair, or Serevent.
They are steroid based inhalers that help
in the long term. Also if you have a
Nebulizer* before you go out to exercise
you should use that.
And if you can do peak flows from home
make a little chart and breathe into it
once a day/twice to see how you are
averaging with the amount of air you are
able to get in there..some days allergens
or other things can cause you to have a
worse day in others so its a good idea to
know what #(s) you should be sitting at on
a good day. A bad day then it may be a
better idea to do something less
strenuous.
And cardio is really best for asthmatics,
Id say if you are having a hard time with
running right now maybe you should try
swimming thats usually easier on the body
as it and you can get a good work out from
that. If you have your heart set on
running, take it easy for a while and
slowly build up into something manageable
that wont cause you to have an attack.
