During pregnancy mole under my breast
changed, it grew to aize of pencil eraser
and changed colour from brown to skin
colour. Two days before giving birth I
showed it to my DR and he used liquid
nitrogen on it. During labour it got
infected and when I went to see my DR
after seven days he removed it by shave
method, he left the root inside. he did
not send me to dermatologist, he said it
is not cancerous. I am regreting doing it,
because rooth is stil inside. Is it
possible that the rooth after this
procedure can turn into cancer. Please
answer me I am very scared. Thank you

Moles that are irritated by activities of
daily living are best removed.
The shave excision method is the most
frequently selected method for mole
removal, and, also generally best for
moles that are irritated by clothing or
shaving.
Was the shaved mole sent for testing?

Yes it was, it came back benign, half dead
probably because liquid nitrogen was used.
Can rooth someday turn into cancer? Should
I ask for dermatologist to take the rooth
out. Thank You

Shaving method can leave some of the mole
cells beneath the skin, and the mole may
grow back again over the next several
years.
Removing the mole can reduce the chances
to get melanoma.
If the mole come back after several years
it is expected to be normal not cancerous
mole.
Melanoma can rise from a mole or normal
skin area.
So, the mole that can come back, has the
some potential to get cancerous as the
other ones you already have on your body.
Anyhow, it's good to watch and check this
site and all your moles every month by
self checkups.
