safety of ab belts

Ok, i've bought and started using an ab belt, I just wanted to know if they were healthy to use.

Basically its a pad stapped on your abs, with water-based lube layer, then electric current goes thorugh it.

Its just the thought of electricity going through my body, will it work and does it damage my health in any way?

Do you mean one of those ab belts for making you lose weight or sculpt your abs? Or is it something different....

Yeah those things......I want mine to sculpt my abs.....As I was finding scrunchees and situps easy, but the thought of electricuting myself worries me.

The idea I think of the thing is the shocks makes your body naturally tense your muscles while your being shocked, trust me i've tried my hardest to fight it. It uses a 3-volt barry if that helps.

But anyway, could I get an answer to my question does it damage my health?
