Scars on Nipples?
Posted: 10-01-08 16:21pm

I have two, what seems to be scars, on my right nipple
but I've had them since I can remember
and don't remember anything that could have caused them
they're white like scars, but they are raised
and I've never seen anything like them on another woman

could they be anything serious?

I should mention that I am nearly 4 months pregnant
and that is why I am concerning about these things
I want to make sure my baby is healthy

Seriously, I don't have a doctor I can go to so I need help here
cuz I'm not going to waste my money going to a doctor to find out it's nothing
because I only make $200 a month
so I just don't have the money

So your right nipple looks significantly different that the other?

I've never really heard of this before, but this is something you could ask your doctor at one of your pregnancy check ups.

You said you don't have a doctor, but you need a doctor to monitor your pregnancy. You should go to the doctor's and see what they can regardless of your financial situation.

I don't have any money and can't afford to go into debt any further
as it is I don't have a car to even get to a doctor because no one will finance me with how much debt I'm in

and like I said, it's been there my WHOLE LIFE
so it obviously can't be anything serious
but if I am gonna go to the doctor, I wanna have a good reason to go another few hundred into debt
not just because I'm paranoid

Have you been to planned parenthood yet? If you can't actually make it there, have you called their hotline?

Most provide prenatal care, and planned parenthood will help find options for you financially.

and I have absolutely none
again that is why I am here asking first

Fallenkitty, you need to go apply for medicaid and stop complaining about not having money for a doctor. You are pregnant. Think of your child. You can and will get FREE health care for you and your child but you have to fill out the paperwork.

Don't be ridiculous with your posts about the possibility of untreated genital warts and not visiting a doctor because it is too expensive.

It's the truth
because my fiance makes too much money they will not give me free healthcare
did you ever think about that, obviously not
he makes too much for them to help me
but not enough for us to afford healthcare
because we pay nearly half the paycheck to rent
so there's barely enough to get food and other things we need
so I don't have the money for insurance

They go off YOUR income, sweetie. Start being responsible. Sheesh.

Then I'll be homeless
simple as that
and already had help with a home before
so they won't help me again

I'm not being a leech on the already failing economy
especially when I can make money
I'm not disabled, so they won't help me

Then you need to get yourself a better job so you can buy this baby what it is going to need. Starting with proper health care!

Apparently you aren't helping yourself either. Do you need me to come over and hold your hand while you fill out the paperwork?

If YOU personally make $200 a month, then YOU personally qualify for medicaid. Your boyfriend has nothing to do with it. You still qualify if he makes $500000000 a month. His income is nothing in relation to how much you make and qualify for.

If you don't like this answer, feel free to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH. I have an idea, how about you start your research at the doctor's office and then go from there. Sounds to me like you may be pretty far along in your pregnancy and you need to make sure everything is OK with that baby.

There are a lot of jobs pregnant women can get. Don't be silly.

I'm not allowed to work, I'm in a wheelchair
but no one considers that I'm disabled BECAUSE of this pregnancy, do they? NO

and in the state I live in, if my fiance lives with me, it does matter how much he makes
and whether I qualify for medical assistance

so maybe you need to do research, not me
I've done mine
and I'm not wasting money that I do NOT have to find out my marks are NOTHING
because I don't have that money to waste

so unless you have a suggestion of what is on my nipple
then don't post

I can't get a better job because I am not strong enough for any of the jobs around here
I did not graduate high school either

and I am covered in tattoos
no one but construction hires people with tattoos
and pays better money than the job I can have

I have tried for medical assistance
and again, I was denied by how much my fiance makes
it's the way the state I live in works

I've done my research
I don't care anymore
it's just a stupid baby
plenty of people are having others
mine won't be missed

You need to get some mental/emotional help. I'm amazed your fiancee hasn't gotten you the help you need.

I think that it’s not a big problem for your child but if you think that there’ll be some problem. Then I personally suggest you that you should concern to your doctor who’ll operate you, it’s just for your satisfaction.

You are not married an therefor do not need to claim your fiance's income on your forms. Trust me, I have filled them out and it works. My fiance made more and would have disqualified me. That was also the advice I received from the woman who helped me fill out those papers and she worked for the government. If you are worried then get help.
