Second opinon on pregnancy Posted: 04-03-08 17:01pm
I believe that I got my period around Feb
29th or March 1st. I started my birth
control again 3 months ago, but didn't
take it at all in Feb, and started again
in March. I haven't been taking it like I
am supposed to (same time everyday, and
usually forget a day or two).
Me and my boyfriend have sex every night
without protection and he does come in me
everytime. We also usually have sex more
than once a day.
According to my pack, I'm supposed to get
my period April 10th. However, I've been
having symptoms related to pregnancy that
I NEVER get prior to my period and need a
second opinion! For the past 5-7days I
have been continually nauseas, my lower
back is killing me, extreme fatigue, and
my breasts have been fuller and heavier.
My nipples have slightly gotten darker,
and I have blue veins that you can now see
in my breasts. I also have not a cramping
feelings, but more of a stretching feeling
in my abdomen. Also yesterday I spotted
just once, bright red. My smell is better
than normal too (and my nose is super
stuffed from allergies). My boyfriend
smokes and it never phases me but now I
have to make him brush his teeth after or
I almost throw up. I also have other
symptoms.
The reason why I am on here looking for a
second opinion is because my best friend
always thinks everyone is preg and doesn't
really help me. And all my others say I
have no idea. I really need so second
opinions on this, and when I would be able
to take a pregnancy test.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

if you are having all those symptoms
already, a pregnancy test would come out
positive if you were actually pregnant. If
you do take one and it comes back negative
and you still dont get you period, i would
test when it is actually late.

So you think you are pregnant because
someone told you that you were pregnant?
Girl, we are all pregnant in that case! My
sister tells me I am pregnant EVERY
month.
You should find a birth control method
that fits into your lifestyle better.
Something you won't forget. Or find a way
to remind you to take it, like put it
right on your alarm clock, store it with
your toothbrush, put it on your mascara if
you wear it every day - that way you'll
remember and eventually it becomes habit.
Or you could ask yourself every time you
are going to have sex, "Did I take my
birth control today?"

i wonder why I have never even thought to
use those ways. I always thought i would
forget the pill, so i got the shot
instead.

I don't think I'm pregnant because someone
told me, I was having the symptoms and
told her. Thanks girls, I guess the next
step is to take a pregnancy test! I was
trying to wait till my period to see if it
was late or not. I have started to take
prenatals everyday and eat healthy, and
change my habits with drinking and
smoking!
Wish me luck! I'm hoping I am!!!

I took a test tonight. There was a faint
second line. I'm going to take another in
the morning. Hopefully it will show up
fully! And tomorrow is when I'm supposed
to get my period according to my pack.
I'll let you know the results!
