self conscious of vagina

thats a very common fear. I too have felt like that before.

Every woman looks different. Some have a pink color while others have a darker color. Some women have very small labia while others have bigger ones. Some even protrude from their bodies...and you know what?

Men love all of them. They are attracted to every part of you. They like the folds and creases they can find and enjoy. Ask any man and they will all tell you the same thing. The shallow ones are the ones that will make you feel bad about your appearance and they dont deserve your beautiful body anyway!

Men also love your natural smell and taste. They just love it. Its some kind of chemical reaction I think. So dont worry about smell either. As long as there is no infection you are perfectly normal in that dept too.

I am going to PM you some info on large labias and vaginas that are thought to be ugly. But you can see that these women are proud! It has definately inspired me.

What are you afraid of?

I had that fear too. When it's something you have, it seems like every time you look in the mirror...it's not the way it should look.

And then I read "The Vagina Monologues." It was inspiring how some entries were all about the love of their own vaginas. There was one piece about a woman whose male significant other admired her vagina. It was after reading that: males actually LIKE vaginas.

I was surprised and almost horrified at first when I heard this. However, upon talking about it with my boyfriend, he said he loved mine. Sometimes, he just looks. He compliments (as stated above) my taste and smell too.

And let's be honest: guys don't care what a vagina looks like as long as it's healthy. And a quote from my boyfriend, "If the guy likes the girl, he's going to like the vagina too."

You're going to be self-conscious...but, when you are comfortable with someone, this fear will be soothed and cease to exist.
