Current medical status: i did a ultrasound
and the dr put a cath. in my cervix to see
what is going on because i have a cyst on
my left side, he discover that i have a
septated uterus the uterus on the right
have a open and the one on left doest have
an open for the blood to come out that
make my uterus on the left big, i had
surgery in 2003 for endometrosis on the
left of my overies and fallopen tube had a
cyst was cut out by a different doctor in
texas now this dr see what is causing the
cyst.
Current medical treatment: he said i would
have to have surgery to make an open for
the old blood to come out and reshape my
uterus.
It is likely that surgery is your only
option. Surgery can create an opening so
that menstruated blood can get out freely
but it can also remove the septum between
2 parts of the womb. Birth control pills
help only partially because they decrease
the amount of the menstruated blood. Women
with a separate uterus have a lot of
reproductive complications. A separate
uterus is treated by using transvaginal
hysteroscopic resection of the septum.
You may want to consult a gynecologist
about this.
