I saw a lot of people have had this hymen
removed, but they never mentioned the
cost!! Most likely covered by insurance
though, does anyone have an idea?

Well unless you want to get your hymen
redone, I don't see why there would be a
need to remove it. It breaks for many
reasons, and after that you don't really
notice it's there...
If I may ask, why do you want it removed?

Aside from being able to have sex without
it hurting, I'm so sick of the tampon
getting stuck personally. Pads are a mess.
I've tried to stretch it out but it's too
thick. I even read on another forum of a
girl who just cut it herself! Which seems
dangerous, but on this one people talked
about just going to the gyno and getting
it cut there. I don't have insurance so I
would love to know the cost.

I would recommend just going to your Gyno
and talking to her about and the issues
you're having. If she can cut it, I doubt
you'd have to pay for it or go through
surgery for it. I'm not 100% percent sure
though since mine isn't isn't septate, but
I would definitely talk to your Gyno next
time you go in.
