Severe numbness in hands and legs Posted: 05-04-08 10:24am
Whenever I am sitting with my legs folded
or bit pressure on my hands, I have severe
numbness where there is no sensation at
all in that part. Is it anything
serious?
The severe numbness you describe is most
likely nothing serious. Certain positions
of the hands or legs may cause compression
on certain peripheral nerves that is
manifested with transitory numbness in
various body areas depending upon the
nerve.
