Q: Severe yeast vaginal infections and pre-term births

im 34 weeks pregnant and have been suffering with thrush alot but the past few weeks, as well as typical thrush symptoms, i'v been extra swollen down stairs and have been tearing alot, at the top and underneath. is this just bad thrush or something else?

Current medical status: im 34 weeks pregnant

Thrush is a very common vaginal infection during pregnancy. Swelling and pain in the vagina and vulva can be found in severe vaginal yeast infections.


You should consult your gynecologist because severe yeast vaginal infections can provoke a pre-term birth.
