Penis Foreskin Will Not Retract Posted: 03-01-08 08:17am
I'm an uncircumsized teenager. I'm worried
because up until a year ago, I didn't
really know that an uncircumsized male has
to wash his foreskin. Not only that, but
on most advice articles I've seen, most
males are able to fully retract their
foreskin from the head of their penis well
before my age. If I try and retract my
foreskin to fully expose my glans, I can
only do it when not erect. When erect, I
can barely retract any of the foreskin.
And since I was never really told about
washing one's own foreskin etc when I was
young, when I attempt to retract my
foreskin, there is an offensive stench,
though, I don't know if this is normal or
not. If I try and touch the tip of my
glans when I retract a bit of the
foreskin, there is quite an amount of
discomfort, and due to this, I've never
really washed it or been able to wash it.
My question is, should I see a
professional about this? Is something
wrong with my foreskin and/or penis?

The foreskin on your penis should be able
to retract over the head regardless of
whether it is erect or not. The penis
will not even be able to erect fully if
foreskin retraction is inhibited, plus an
erection could be very painful. You might
consider an examination by a Urologist to
diagnose and treat this problem.
