Q: Sharp pain under right breast

I occasionally have a sharp pain (it is more like a discomfort)under my right breast. I feel like I have to undo my bra and elongate my stomach. I thought it was a rib poking me but my doctor thinks it could be a gallstone. It is not severe and it comes and goes. Does this sound like a gallstone to anyone?

It could be gallstones. Will you be getting an ultrasound?

For your gallstones or for your pregnancy? It would be a good idea for your doctor to run tests to see if what you are experiencing is gallstones. The first step is usually an abdominal ultrasound.

Gallstones can be quite common in pregnancy.
