Large and tender breasts are not one of the most certain signs of pregnancy. That is why it can not be determined whether you are pregnant solely on these symptoms. It was not stated what tests exactly were done. Sexual hormone laboratory tests are a routine method for detecting pregnancy.

After a period of time, an ultrasound can be done to definitely confirm or rule out pregnancy and is considered the most precise method for detecting pregnancy.
