Q: sleeping on belly?

I am 6 months pregnant and it seems the only way I am comfortable is to sleep on my belly, well about an hour ago I went to take a nap, and like always ended up on my belly, and the baby started kicking and squirming like he didnt like it, so I got up? will this be a problem for me now that I am getting further along into my pregnancy.... he seemed mighty upset cause he kicked the hell out me

I am 5 months and the dr told me to sleep on my left side because the baby gets a better flow of blood to him or her and its better for you. I went and bought a body pillow because I am a belly sleeper and I have trouble sleeping now that I am pregnant and have a belly. I sleep on my left side with the body pillow between my legs, kind of leaning into it. It took a while for me to get use to it but now I am. Plus everytime I try to even remotely rolled onto my belly the baby kicks me! So I feel your pain! But invest in a body pillow they are great!! Good luck hun!

Extremely eHealthy

I slept on my belly until I gave birth (38wks, induced due to pre-eclampsia). It was more on my [left] side, but my chest was against the bed.

But yes, pillows are a WONDERFUL thing while pregnant. Even if you don't get one, a regular pillow between your knees helps A LOT with getting comfy.
