Small hard lump under the skin and tumors Posted: 03-12-08 05:24am
I have just recently noticed a small,
hard, pea shaped bump under my son's skin
on his right hand - top side. It has just
appeared in the last week and it does not
move. Any clue as to what it could
be?

It is very hard to answer your question
without a clinical examination (inspection
and palpation) of that “small, hard, pea
shaped bump” under your son's skin on
his right hand - top side. Generally, such
a “small, hard, pea shaped bump under
the skin” is considered as a tumor until
the real nature is revealed. Clinical
examination is the first step in
diagnosing such “tumors”.
