Current medical status: There is a small
white lump on the outside of my anus. It
is not a sexually transmitted disease. I
just had my yearly exam and everything
came back negative. This has been there
for a few years and I just haven't asked
my doctor about it.
Current medical treatment: Annual
Gynocologist visit in May. Everything came
back good. No STD's or issues.
That “small white lump on the outside of
your anus” may be a benign skin tumor.
You can say polyp but that doesn’t
describe the nature of the tumor, only the
outside appearance.
If you feel so uncomfortable with that
polyp in the anal area you can consult a
dermatologist or plastic surgeon about
removing the small white lump.
