Ive been having sex and we usually pull out and Im on the pill... I missed one day but took it the next, which i have done before and been fine. But for about a week my breast have been so tender and hurt whenever i touch them... and my nipples look bigger...I also had some cramping of some sort just pain in my vaginal wall area.. Is it supposed to hurt there too? Ive taken 3 pregnancy test already and all negative.. but im almost certain I am. I still have 9 days left until my period is supposed to start... I dont know what to do...??? Could it all just be in my head?? I dont think im ready for this... Confused Shocked

Wait until your period is due & then take another pregnancy test if it doesn't start. It's unlikely that you're pregnant, but there's a very small chance.

You wouldn't be experiencing symptoms even if you were pregnant yet though, so your breasts hurting could just be because of normal hormonal changes or perhaps because they're still growing.

I think the message you'll hear most on these boards is: If your symptoms are related to pregnancy a test will show up positive. HCG (the pregnancy hormone) is what causes symptoms to appear so if you don't have enough to make a test positive you certainly don't have enough to cause any pregnancy symptoms. At 9 days before your period you would not be having any pregnancy symptoms at all, regardless of whether you might be pregnant or not.

What you're feeling is not caused by pregnancy. If it was, a pregnancy test would be very, very positive. Pregnancy tests detect hCG in small amounts, smaller amounts than symptoms require.

And 9 days before your period means you've only just ovulated. Women ovulate 14 days before their period, so you only ovulated 5 days ago. The egg hasn't even implanted in your uterus yet.

i got pregnant on the pill only a week into my cycle i thought something was up but because my period wasnt due for another 3 weeks all tests came out negative you have to wait until its due to do a test. also being on the pill can mess up your body, some months i was fine then others i was moody, spotty, in pain for the whole of the month. so it could just be hormones that are causing your concern.
