Sore Throat, Chest Pain, Help Posted: 08-24-04 10:15am
I've had a chest pain for nearly 4 months
now. Two weeks ago, I had a sore throat
which has refused to go even after doctor
gave me antibiotics. It's so depressing
feeling a lump on my throat everyday.
Sometimes, the pain gets worse when I lie
down and I have difficulty swallowing.
Then, I get a dry cough. What is the
matter with me? Please somebody help!

Go to a gastroenterologist.. I say this
because it could be a case of bad acid
reflux even if you don't notice you are
having hearburn. This can cause chest
pain and throat pain as well. I was
misdiagnosed for asthma and was put on all
sorts of inhalers for my chest pain months
before I was finally diagnosed with
gastric reflux disease. Even if it
isn't, if your throat is involved, the
doctor can examine your esophogus for
something else.

I think I no wot ur going throu, I have
acid reflux/chester pain, and it hasnt
gone for a while now, and its getting
worse, im not alowed to go the docter
because my mum doesn't believe me, but do
u get like a feeling that u cant breath,
and your throat cxlosing up?
