I have a bit of a history w my periods. I'm 21. I'm 5'4'' and 180 lbs. So I'm a little overweight. LOL. Well ever since high school my periods have been very finicky. Depending on stress and what other girls I hung around depended on if I would have a regular period or not. But I think that's normal. October 2007 I was pregnant and I had a miscarraige in December 2007. Over the past year I've had sharp pains in my abdomen... like in my uterus and ovary area. I went to my normal pap and they said they found pre-cancerous cells but that they weren't serious enough to do anything about and that they'd watch it. I haven't had the money to go back. LOL. The pains have only gotten worse and more frequent. I have been unemployed the past few months and live with my boyfriend so I'm not really around girls... my periods have been starting around the same time the past 4-5 months. Last month I bled 3 different times though. Accompanied by the stabbing feeling. Now this month I am a wk late for my period. Nothing has changed. I'm nowhere near stressed so I don't know why it could be messed up. My boyfriend and I do have unprotected sex every now and then as bad as that is. I've taken 2 ept's and they've both come up negative. I don't know what's wrong. Does anyone have a clue??? Thank you.

Sorry but only a doctor could tell you what is wrong with you, and they need to examine you to do that. You can apply for aid if you cannot pay for a doctor. You could have ANYTHING, ranging from benign fibroids to cancer or an STD, but only a doctor who examines you would be able to tell you what is wrong.

First of hanging around with girls doesn't mean your period will become regular. this is a just a crazy ideal.
2nd having no money to go back for a pap smear is no LOL matter. They have already said to you that there might be cancer cell starting to form. and if you have this pain then there must be something about it.
Try getting a job or asking your parents/bf to help you out with the medical bills.
Did you go to the hospital to make sure everything was ok after the miscarriage?

Actually its not a crazy idea. Women's cycles will naturally sync themselves to move closer together. It has been proven that women will start to have their periods around the same time of the month if they hang out together. Look it up. Its not crazy.

This phenomenon would not apply to you. Search for "Menstrual Synchrony". It is also called "McClintock Effect".
