It may be odd to ask this question... I'm
25 years old... I have GF in my country,
but sadly i had to leave coz i had this
GREAT JOB POSITION somewhere else... well
I'm in a foreign country for almost a
year...
I kept faithful & loyal all the previous
time.. but yesterday i couldn't hold it..
I went to a local bar, got a prostitute, &
had sex with her.. I dunno anything about
her medical records, & i dunno anything
about her being infected by any STD's...
now let's come to the real question..
1st, I used a lubricated condom, no
artificial lubricant was added, missionary
position, the intercourse lasted for about
6 minutes of penetration, I don't think
she reached orgasm, & I only kissed her
nipple & sucked it once or twice
maximum... is there any change i may get
infected by HIV, AIDS, or any other sexual
transmitted thing ?
2nd, After i reached my orgasm.. my
throught became so dry, & it's still dry
till now... is that because i'm feeling so
guilty & very non-loyal ? or it's some
sort of infection ?
I'd appreciate any mature scientific
reply... thanks everyone...

i didn't kiss her @ all, i only kissed her
nipple once or twice as i said earlier..
I wish 2 read ur answer, coz if there's
any chance of me being HIV infected.. I
should make the appropriate tests before
getting into any other intercourse.. after
all i don't want to harm or infect my GF,
or anybody else...
waiting for ur replies...

If you used a condom and did not have oral
to genital contact then your chances are
pretty slim that you have contracted any
STD. If you are still unsure, get tested.
Your best chances of remaining free of
STD's and HIV is to use protection - a
condom, which you did. The dry throat? I
don't know what to say about that. Perhaps
you are coming down with a cold. It is
probably completely unrelated. Hope this
helps.

You could contract hpv- but there's no
test for hpv in men. But it's true, the
chances that you caught HIV is definitely
low.
I'd still get tested before you have sex
with your gf again, just to be on the safe
side.

I went to my doctor... he told me that the
chance of her being infected with HIV is
1/50... & the chance of getting HIV
infection IF SHE'S HIV POSITIVE is about
2/10... sp my chance is about 2/500=1/250
"almost zero"...

however... a test won't harm anyone...
I'll make the test in the next 3 to 6
month... & hopefully I hear nothing
but the good news...
one thing i'm sure about... I'll never do
it with a prostitute again... masturbation
is the best thing in life
thanks for the replies...

Yes
HPV can cause cervical cancer in women. It
usually shows up as genital warts, but can
lie dormant and not show any symptoms for
quite a while, so it's really hard to tell
if you have it. And there is no test for
men. However, there is a vaccine that
protects women against the types that most
commonly cause cervical cancer- if they
have it in your country (Gardisil) it
might be worth your gf getting it
(regardless of the prostitute thing- it's
just good to have)
Chlamydia can also cause serious damage to
a woman's reproductive system- and is
often present without symptoms. However,
there's a pretty easy test for it. I'd
recommend you get tested.
Gonorrhea is also an easy one to get
tested for and might not show any
symptoms- but it doesn't always show up on
a test until about 30 days after
infection.
Watch for herpes as well- but you would
probably have an outbreak by now if you
had that (sores in your genital area)
Syphilis- also usually shows as a sore.
There's a blood test for it.
Bacterial infections: it would probably be
obvious by now if you had one (discharge
from your penis)
Most of these std's can lead to worse
problems in women- PID- (Pelvic
inflammatory disease) which can cause a
woman's reproductive system serious damage
or even infertility. Which is why it's
important that you get yourself the full
run of tests. I'm not sure if it would be
necessary to test for all of these.
Chlamydia and gonorrhea are really easy
and common tests.
But like someone said above- you used a
condom. So although these are all
possibilities, it's not all that likely.
If I were you, I'd just let a doc know
what you did and the doc will know what
tests you should do. And don't be
embarrassed, it's a lot more common thann
you think! People make mistakes.

Dear all,
actually since the day i made this
relation, I'm suffering dry throght, dry
mouth, fever,flu, headache, sweatining
(only started 4 days ago), &
tiredeness .. also i had skin itching for
the 1st about 8 days after the intercourse
i had... i've read about the flu &
fever, it says that they remain for 7 days
maximum.. But i'm suffering them for the
last 19 days?!?!
the problem is that i live in a foreign
country.. & I have no chance of making
an HIV test.. because if it's positive,
I'll be kicked out of the country
forever...
so please, tell me if those are a SERIOUS
indicators of an HIV positive case ?

HIV generally stays dormant for quite a
while, and certainly doesn't usually show
up so soon.
So you have the flu? That's not so bad.

I wanted to add- flu like symptoms are
indicative of HIV. BUT- they are also
indicative of many many other things,
including just being sick. Since you used
a condom, chances are low that it's
actually HIV.

i hope it's true georgia... coz it's a
ONE TIME mistake that i know i'll never do
again, I mean I almost lost my gf "i lost
her trust for sure :s", also I'm having
enough anxiety already... & i hope i
don't suffer from it for the rest of my
life because of it...
note: i used to be a smoker for seven
continous years... i stopped 2 years
ago... this could've affected my immunate
system against flu & other throght
deseases...

yeah
Or you could just get sick! It happens to
the best of us.
When will you be able to get tested? For
all the std's, not just Hiv. You'll want
to do that before you have sex again, just
in case (you don't want to give your girl
chlamydia or anything
