Storage of birth control pills
Posted: 05-26-08 02:32am

I've been taking desogen for about two years now, and i have a question about how heat sensitive the pills themselves are? Due to a recent heat wave and a poorly ventilated appartment, my appartment has been ranging between 80-100ish degrees for the past few weeks, however, my concern is that on the package for desogen, it says to store below 86 degrees. Will this be a problem? Its the only form of birth control i use so i dont want to take any chances about it losing its effectiveness!

Improper storage of the birth control pills (above recommended temperature) can spoil them and make them lose their effectiveness.
