Stretch marks Posted: 03-13-08 21:50pm
Ok I know that we have already covered
that stretch marks can happen to anybody,
regardless as to whether or not you have
had a child. I have very old stretch marks
on my hips that are not even visible,
which I think appeared during high school?
Now I am 25 and have just discovered what
I think is the begining of stretch marks
on the sides of my breasts! I am slim,
active, have not gained any weight but
sure enough they are there! I am going to
start putting scar lotion on them right
away, but I'm so confused as to why this
would happen. Obviously I'm finished with
puberty, and I haven't gained weight so
why the stretch marks on my tiny boobs?

Dear lele25,
Before I got pregnant I had similar
situation like yours, mine was at the skin
at the upper arm near my armpit, from what
I heard from my friend, she told me it's
not because of pregnancy that one can have
strech marks however it's the elasticity
of the skin, when the skin let say the
tummy area strech and the elasticity of
the skin there is not so 'elastic' then
strech marks would appear. Hope my
explanation helps. - Hart74
