Sudden Rash That Leaves During Sleep?! Posted: 01-06-06 08:13am
Hi all, I am an 18 y/o female and I don't
have any allergies towards anything
whatsoever. I've never gotten a skin rash
before....
The rashes look like...Mosquito bites
butttt distorted and overgrown. They
expand to be really really big and they're
of weird shapes...Not round or
anything....They start off from a red
patch...Then become those bumps, the bumps
level out slowly...And they itch!!
So I started getting one yesterday...I
have no idea from what. I didn't eat
anything different, didn't put on anything
different. I didn't really go to anywhere
different, haven't taken a bath in a tub
for over a year, no public facilities were
used recently....
Last night I just started getting a rash.
I think I first noticed it on my legs,
then it started spreading a bit, all over
my arms, body, neck, butt cheeks...
Then I slept...It was gone when I woke up
then my neck started to itch...Then it's
all over my body again, my cheeks were
reddening too....
Then I took a 1 hour nap...And the rash
has faded again...But it will probably
fire up again!!
I've never had any skin disorders or
anything like eczema before.
Anyone have any idea?
Looks like it could be pityriasis
rosea...But it doesn't scab...At least not
yet...And the bumps are more white...Like
I said, they're like mosquito bites
thanks for any help!!

Sounds like the classic urticaria/hives.
Now you got to figure out if it is long
term or short term.
If you ate something "new" that you are
allergic to, including any type of
pills/medication... You probably have
short term. You cannot become allergic
to the same food you have been eating all
your life.
If you are positive you ate nothing
special. Then it is probably too much
toxin from over use of laundry detergent
usage.
Yes, bumps do go away when you go to bed.
Yes, they look just like mosquito bites.
Except itchier and it only occurs where
you have worn tight clothes. Buttock is
the most common place cause you are
practically sitting on the chemical on the
clothes.
