Skin concern : About once a month, a
specific area of my skin becomes ultra
sensitive (feeling like a burn when
touched, even very lightly), and it lasts
for about a day at a time. It's like if
the pain receptors were all turned on.
Usually it is an area that is 3-4 inches
in diameter, and it can be sometimes on my
upper arm, on my thigh, or on my hip. It
can be on the right or left side of the
body. There is absolutely no visual signs
at all -no rash, no bumps, no redness,
nothing at all.
I thought it could be allergies, but
antihistamine didn't change anything.
I do not have any other skin-related
problems besides a bit of psoriasis on my
legs.
Temporary hypersensitivity to touch that
moves through the body's surface is
probably due to anxiety.
