What is the "Y" shaped thing that last for 5 years?
Are they reliable and what are the range of costs?

It is NOT Y shaped, it is T shaped.

There are TWO here in the US. Mirena is hormonal, and it lasts for 5 years.

Paragard is NON hormonal, and it lasts for 12 years.

They are the most reliable form of birth control around, moreso than the pill, they are equal to getting your tubes tied.

IF you have insurance, that would cover it.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD is the best option for women without insurance(even with too) because they offer IUD's for lower cost than most doctors.
