I am soooo tired, I go to my college classes in the morning and I can barely keep my eyes open. I am feeling very hopeful and excited about this pregnancy becuase I was never tired last time, or had symptoms this early...

So my first appointment is this Wednesday on the 12th. Do you think they will do an ultrasound (Ill be 5 wks, 1 day)???? I dont want to have one very early becuase I did have a blighted ovum and not seeing anything becuase it might be to early would drive me insane.

It depends on your doctor whether you get an early U/S or not.

Good luck.

Mostly, not a lot happens at your first few appointments. Other than the icky, dreaded weigh ins and pap smear and a ton of paperwork.

But I agree, it is very exciting!

I do have another question, Im pretty sure Im only about 4 weeks and 3 days, but my boobs dont seem to be as tender. Soo if tmi but my nipples and areola are darker, swollen, and very tender, but my actualy boobs are not sore at all. They have been sore on the sides some days and then not at all other days. Is that normal, and is it just because I am only around 4 weeks??

It's pretty common to not have sore bb's this early. I'm sure that will change in the next few weeks.

As for the blighted ovum, I bet if you convey your concerns to the dr (is it the same dr from the previous pregnancy?) He will order an early u/s, but it might not be until around 7ish weeks.

Yea it is the same doctor, and Im pretty sure they will do the early ultrasound, they do them right in the office. He is a very understanding doctor and told me before that anything I ever wanted tested for he had no problem doing it as long as it would make me feel better emotionally.
