I really need your advice girls (and guys, not to leave anyone out!)...Most of probably know my story, but if not, here's a summary...I've been trying to have a baby for 3 years, had one miscarriage, and lost two due to an incompetent cervix, the most recent december 2003. Anyhow, I had my first regular period on 2/12/04-2/15/04 and did the baby dance every other day thru the end of the month to be sure there were always "troops" deployed (sorry, I am tired and sarcastic) anyhow...I took a first response test this morning because it says you can test up to 5 days before your expected period (i am due for my next period 3/12/04). The test was negative and until today I did not get any pms symptoms, other than very sore breasts (which I normally have when I am pregnant.) now I have mild cramps every so often. I was very bummed at the negative test and would like to know has anyone taken a test that early, gotten a negative, but turned out to be pregnant anyways or known someone like that? I took two tests the first time I found out I was pregnant and one was pos. One was neg. I know I am rambling, but as I said, I am confused, bummed, and just want to know, could I still be pregnant, or does the waiting game go on...? Thanks! Rolling Eyes

My sister was really sick and having signs of being pregnant she bought several test and they came back neg, after a few days she went to the er and they did a test came back neg told her she had a really bad bladder infection put her on antibiotics, she still didnt get any better, finally went to her obgyn they took a test positive she was one and a half months preg, dont know why the other test came back neg, thank god she didnt take all of the meds, so yes it is possible to be preg, and get a neg result, im sorry you lost 3 babies, and I really hope everything gos well for you, I wish you luck dont give up or discouraged .

If you're not pregnant I suggest that you relax, women are less likely to fall pregnant if they're uptight - being stressed can also affect the sperm negatively too, also toomuch sex can deplete the strength of the sperm!!

If you'er not pregnant go back to basics, why did you & yours first have sex, to have a baby or because you found each other attractive & were turned on & it was fun, lots of fun, different positions, places, times, lots of playing around etc???? Well go back to that & enjoy yourselves, have a drink (just to relax not to get drunk) go out for a romantic dinder, go see a romantic or sexy movie & go home for a night of fun, have a night or weekend away for romance not to fall pregnant just because you love each other. It's amazing what a little fun can achieve instead of failure due to all that hard work making life dull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rolling Eyes Laughing

Hotasfrick home pregnancy tests are not usually wrong. All though they can be and it is quite common, but not usually. Her hormone levels may not be high enough to detect yet. I say give it a few days, maybe a week and try testing again. Good luck to you!

Well that is your opinion, but every women I know who has ever taken one has had false results.
In this case, I am not saying that the results are or are not wrong. All I am saying is don't waste your money on something that is not going to work anyway.

First Response Sucks
I took another one yesterday, only this time I used clear blue easy, which I have always had good luck with. There was a very very faint line, but I am not due to start until tomorrow, so I will wait to take another test on saturday (i got 3 in a box!) I am hopeful now, cautious, but hopeful. I will keep everyone updated. Thanks for the responses as well!
