Losing Faith

Yesterday i went to my doctors bc i had a sheduled ultrasound. I was in high hopes bc i was going to be able to see my baby for the first time. My hopes turned into fears when my doctor was done. he said the same thing to me that he did in december when i had my miscarriage. things werent right. He said that my babys heart was not beating and that there was blood around the uterous. he made me go to the hospital to get another ultra sound. the nurse said the same thing he did and told me that i was going to miscarry. My doctor said that i have less than 1 percent chance that my baby is still alive. Why do i keep having miscarriages. what are all the reasons for having them bc i was doing everything that i was supposed to be doing and not doing everything that i wasnt supposed to be doing. I just want my child. I dont want to have to go through another miscarriage. i have to sit at my house day and night wondering when i will start to miscarry.

I am so very sorry. How awful for you. As you probably know, miscarriages often happen when there is something not developing correctly with the baby. It is not necessarily a result of something you did or did not do, especially if you were taking all the necessary precaustions. It could be a genetic anomaly, in which case you and your partner could undergo genetic testing to see if there is some incompatability there. There could be a physiological problem in your baody that you are not yet aware of, such as an undiagnosed autoimmune issue. It could be any multitude of these things. In fact, many women have miscarried before they even knew they were pregnant due to these issues. Again, My thoughts are with you as you wait for this to happen. I wish there was something tht could be done to prevent this. Perhaps your care provider has some insight for you? Can they schedule a procedure so that you do not have to wait this out?

I am so sorry! I too have been there, I know it isn't easy, know that we are here for you! I pretty much agree with sillyakchick. Talk to your dr and know that you might even want to get a second opinion.

I am sorry to hear that. Hopefully your doctor will be able to give you some kind of answer as to why that keeps happening. I hope things turn out better the next time around and I will pray for you

I am so sorry this keeps happening to you. I have had a total of eight miscarriages and they do not know why. they have told me that when a baby does this there is usually something wrong with it so it will abort itself. Not your fault at all please know that. I used to blame myself. I do have one idea though are you RH- or RH+ if you are negative and baby is positive then your body will think it has to get rid of the baby it will kind of treat it like it is an infection to get rid of. Is your doc a OBGYN or just a gp. If not a OBGYN ask your doctor to refer you to one and one that specializes in fertility. Again I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you and your partner all though it is much worse for you. Try not to get mad if he seems not to care he did not get the same attachment to the baby as you did.

I'm so sorry for you however remember that God has a plan for all of this crapy as it is sometimes. When I miscarried I was devastated and my husband said to me God ment for it to happen because he was saving me from something worse for instance maybe my child was developing improperly and would not come out healthy. And just think with pregnancy, yes there are things you should and shouldn;t do but really you have no control and you just need to take things one day at a time. I changed my cat litter and miscarried but my friend drank a bottle of whisky and the baby was fine, so who knows
