36 Weeks Pregnant Posted: 07-12-07 18:51pm
ok so i have been experiencing some weird
things in the past couple of days and i
was just wondering if anybody else has
gone through the same thing? So you think
by now the baby would be dropping but int
he past couple of days it feels like he's
right under my boobs when i sit up. Also
i have been having like 4 bowel movements
a day for the past week (sorry for the
tmi). Also all week he has been really
active and today i've hardly felt him move
at all. i'm also getting stronger
cramping in my lower stomach, but today my
stomach feels super hard and i was getting
like sharp pains from the top of my
stomach to the bottom. I know that i've
been getting braxton hicks in my lower
stomach, but the pain in my upper stomach
is different. I saw my doctor 3 days ago
and she said everything is good and i'm
not dialated but the babies head is down.
Now should i be worried about the little
movement and call the hospital or should i
go do the movement counting test for an
hour. I dont know.... i'm gonna try the
hour movement test and see if he moves.
thanks for any comments.

I would drink something like juice or milk
and then lay on your left side.
My lamaze coach told me that if it is low
in the belly it usually isn't labor but it
never hurts to get it checked out. I would
be scared about the baby not moving
though! My little guy thinks that he is a
kickboxer all the time.
Also, they say that diarrhea and frequent
bowel movements can be a sign of early
labor. You are 36 weeks and some websites
put that as full term.

you have to watch out for dehydration too.
in the summer months especially. i think
the kick count is a good idea.

well i had some water and juice and did
the movement test and he moved a lot so
i'm not as freaked out. i'm still kinda
wondering why my stomach feels so hard
though? i think i'll call triage since my
ob is never available.
