Q: Breast Soreness Gone? Please Answer -- I Am Very Nervous

Hi all. This is my first post on this board. I am just about ten weeks pregnant and my breasts don't hurt nearly as much. In fact, most of my pregnancy symptoms are suddenly going away. I am just worried because whereas my breasts used to hurt, now they don't really. Is this normal around this time? I had an ultrasound at eight and a half weeks which showed a healthy baby with a strong heartbeat. If anyone has any input, I would highly appreciate it. I am so scared. Thank you all so much.

It's perfectly fine and normal for your symptoms to come and go. Unless you're experiencing bleeding, there's no reason to fear that you might be losing your pregnancy.

you're getting closer to the end of the first trimester and i think it's pretty normal for there to be a shift in hormones. i think the baby/placenta are developed enough to take over the hormone production or something like that at this stage. that's why a lot of women stop having morning sickness when they reach the second trimester. my breasts were only tender during the first trimester. they haven't had any pain at all since then. they always talk about the second trimester as being the most enjoyable stage of your pregnancy because the baby will eventually pop out of the pelvis, meaning less pressure on your bladder, but it isn't big enough to be very uncomfortable, as it may be at the end of your pregnancy. those things along with the hormone change are what make it a more comfortable part of your pregnancy. i hope that's all it is. i'm sure you are fine. congrats! and welcome to the forum.
