when do you think is the earliest time that you'll start to realise you could be pregnant before your missed period and whens the earliest time you can take a pregnancy test? any comments will help. thnx

sometime you dont know
i didnt even have a clue i was preg until 7 weeks

thanks cos i cant remember since william. i know theres a test out now called first response which you can take a couple of days before your period is due but i couldnt remember when you started to notice. x

yes first reponse i believer is 5 days before your period and clear blue is 4

so you think yor pregnant?

yes ive been less careful lately. with william i got pregnant while on the pill and using condoms, and now hes nearly a year im thinking it wont be so bad having another baby and stopped using condoms. if it happens it happens. i believe my next period should be due in 2 weeks so ive got a while until i know anyway, thanks for the help

u got pregnant while on the pill AND using condoms??? see stuff like that just freaks me out...i'm on the pill because I DONT want a kid right now...we dont use condoms because of the fact that i'm on the pill..he just pulls out..now i'm gonna start worrying again...

if your period is due in 2 weeks then you're just ovulating right now. you wouldn't be pregnant yet.

anyway, i tested with a first response 4 days before my period was due and got my positive.

dont worry about it. it doesnt happen very often. and if you dont want to get pregnant use condoms aswell or dont have sex.

thanks i never understood about my ovulation dates. hoe long does the ovulation period last?

you ovulate 14 days *before* your period, so if you have a regular cycle it's pretty easy to keep track of.

i know that sperm can survive for up to 5 days (i think it's 5...), so to be safe you should avoid having unprotected sex from about 5 days before you should ovulate to about 2 days after. if you have a regular 28 day cycle, you would avoid sex from days 10-17. though if you're ttc, you should aim for sex during that time and most people say that doing it every other day is best.

this is just what i've learned, it might not be 100% accurate but i know it's close.

I started to realize I was pregnant when I was about 2 to 3 weeks along, I could just tell. But I think everyone is different on the test, everyones body releases different levels of pregnancy hormone so who knows some people can tell when they are 4 weeks along some not untill they are 5 or 6. I couldn't tell untill about one to two weeks after I missed my period.
