Anyone have a child who had this done. My
two year old daughter is going in for
surgery at the end of next month. I could
use feedback on this

You should read the book called
Karen---she had a similar surgery done. It
improved her quality of life----If it were
my child I would have that surgery done.
she could only profit from it. yes it will
be hard with pt and all but think of the
things that she will be able to do as a
result of it--the doors that will be
opened for her--- Let me know how she is
doing.

Hey Posted: 07-15-07 14:48pm
the book is by her mother---Marie
Killilea also you should read the sequal
With Love From Karen by the same author.
These books are part of the reason i do
today what I do--I care for the
developementally disabled--including
cerebral palsy. in fact i have 2 clients
and 2 friends with it. i love them
dearly.
you can get these books at barnes and
noble(i checked) or you could search ebay
for them very often you can get them very
cheap.
