Just Wanting Some Advice Really

i am new here and i was just wondering if
i can get any advice. i have been trying
to get pregnant for the last few months
with my husband and i think this month
might finally be the month.
it's still a few days until my period is
due so fingers crossed.
i was wondering how all pregnant women and
mummys on here told their other half that
they were pregnant? i know my husband will
be so happy so i want to do something cute

they have really cute ideas if you google
it, it's from babycenter so you might have
to search a little bit, it's pages and
pages and pages long lol but they have
really good ideas. i'd try to find the
link for you but we're not allowed to post
links of websites with other forums, but
just google and you'll find quite a bit!

well my other half actually told me lol!
travis had brought it to my attention that
he thought i might be pregnant about 2
weeks before we tested lol
so he went to walgreens and got me some
tests and we sat in the bathroom one night
and tested. well sure enough. positive. we
were haveing a baby :]
hes been a big help to me he helps alot.
he brings me breakfast in bed and buys me
presents...:]
i hope you guys are pregnant and good
luck!!!!!!!! im very exited to know the
results

good luck! I'm Danni i'm 16 and i have a
12 day olf daughter called Mika. I can't
really help you out with the whole telling
your partner thing because i was too
scared to look at the test so i put it up
my sleve, went up to Dom's room handed it
to him and got him to tell me waht it
said!

I won't be much help either. I told my
husband over the phone. I was 3 days late
and took a test one day at work. The line
was very faint, so I took another the next
morning with my first morning urine. It
came up positive right away. My husband
was already at work and I wanted to be
100% sure. So I went to the doctor that
morning and he confirmed it, then I had to
wait till noon to talk to my husband. I
REALLY wanted to wait until we were face
to face, but I was to excited to
wait!!!!!

I didn't do it a cute way I just took one
cuz I thought I was pregnant and I started
freaking out and ran and showed it to
him.

i was the worst with this one. he had the
day off for his birthday and we went for
lunch. i had been telling him i thought i
might be pregnant and he kept brushing it
off saying 'nah can't be' until i insisted
we pick up a test. well, after we bought
them we had to stop at my sisters for cake
and ice cream because my niece wanted to
blow out the candles for him and sing
happy birthday. so i couldn't wait any
longer. i went upstairs to the bathroom
at my sisters and did the test in there
and it was positive. i almost fainted
because it was so unplanned, lol. then
when i came downstairs he took one look at
me and knew. we both must have looked
like we had seen a ghost or something
because even my sister and mom caught on
and my sister was like "you're pregnant
aren't you!!" i could have killed her
 .
but now we are so happy about it and can't
wait for baby to arrive. i wish i had a
nice romantic story to tell but oh well.
maybe next time, lol.

I screamed for my husband (who was in the
other room) like i had seen a spider....
i'm such a dork. perhaps next time I will
do it more sweetly and with less furvor

i didn't really do anything cute.
the first time it had taken 8 months to
get pregnant and by then we'd assumed
something was wrong and we joked around
saying he must be sterile. i tested by
myself and it was positive, later we were
snuggling in bed and i said "i have a
secret... you're not sterile". that was
followed by about 10 minutes of him saying
"wow... really?... wow...". that ended in
a miscarriage.
the next time i was so scared because of
the miscarriage, i didn't even want to say
it out loud. i ended up getting him a card
and writing this long mushy love letter
and i ended it with "and i can only hope
that you're as excited about our second
chance at having a baby as i am" (or
something like that). then i watched him
read it and he was all "awww" through the
whole thing and then we got to the end he
gasped a huge gasp. that card is now
framed and hanging in our kitchen.
for the next one i will do something cute,
like have finn wearing an "i'm going to be
a big brother" shirt when nick gets home
from work. we'll probably do something
like that for my parents too, then send a
picture of finn wearing the shirt to
nick's parents.
let us know what you do! i like hearing
creative ideas!

not much here either my dh is an over the
road truck driver and i tested at night
and he happened to call me just as i found
out so i told him guess what he is like
what and i said im pregnant he started
yelling and cheering at a truck stop and
saying were having a baby to all the other
truckers so sweet. now my brother and his
wife took my parents to dinner and they
were at the resteruant before my parents
so they put a bib on each of there seats
saying i love my grandma/grandpa it was a
nice surprise for them.
