Sclerosing Lymphangitis ?
Posted: 07-15-07 16:57pm

I had a vein like HARD growth under the skin on the left side of my penis.

I figured it was from aggressive sex or masturbation. AS it is on my penis and my doctor is a female my levbel of comfortability is at issue here. I have researched the item on the internet and after finding pictures of Sclerosing lymphangitis this seems to be exactly what I have been experiencing. I also believe it is of the non venereal kind as my most recent STD screens came back clean as a whistle.

Some of the recomneded treatments are fairly simply. Keep the skin clean, take anti inflammatory drugs such as advil and ibuprofen, abstain from vigorous sexual activity.

Is this legitimate? there is no pain associated and minimal swelling, mostly after masturbation and/ or sexual activity. It has not affected my ability to maintain or sustain an erection and in no way hinders my sbility to perform. Suggestions? Comments?

Personally? I would never self diagnose a lump that hangs around for longer than a few weeks. I'd get it looked at by a doctor at some point.
