Unplanned pregnancy - options?

i just found out im pregnant.
ive noticed the signs before but just
ignored them cause i was scared.
i dont know what i can do cause my parents
will freak out on me and send me off (they
are quite violent ). and my boyfriend
hasnt a clue either (but he said he'll be
beside me in whatever choice i make).
i dont want a baby..and we werent
expecting one cause we used a condom. i
dont want to go through with the pregnancy
cause im very into sports and my
education. its too late for the pill..and
its too costly for an abortion...so are
there any other options for me? or do i
have to go through with my pregnancy?

Hi hun! We're here for you!
Unfortunately, if you are too far along
for the medical abortion (with the pills)
and you cannot afford a surgical one,
there isn't anything you can do except go
through with the pregnancy

you dont HAVE to go through with your
pregnancy
do you have like a planned parenthood or
some place that can help you?
i think if your underage in most states
you HAVE to have your parents permission
so weither way your probably gunn have to
tell them
what do YOU want? what do YOU want to do.
do you have a place to go if you get
kicked out? what would your bf's parents
say? are you sure abortion is the right
path for you? im here if you need anyting
but id reserch it before you do anything
im 16 yrs old and 18 weeks 2 days pregnant

I'm sorry about your predicament but we
are here if you need support. I don't know
where you live, but I live in CA, and when
I got my abortion, I literally did not
have to pay for anything. It was all
covered by medi-cal. I still made a
donation of what I could afford though and
continue to do so now that I have a job
again. Perhaps if you are in a similar
economic situation you could qualify for a
reduced price?

im 16 years old..and i live outside of a
city..so my only transportation is my
parents cause i dont have my license..so
they might be suspicious if i get them to
drive me there cause they are super
strict...and they observe everything i
do... thats why im scared
to go to the doctor! so i was thinking of
doing an abortion alone..but im
scared..and i cant tell people about my
baby cause ill have no where to go...

If you are too far along for a normal,
doctor monitored medical abortion then you
are also too far along for cytotec. Please
don't try it, medical abortions should be
monitored by doctors, not done without a
prescription.

boyfriend and herself are on a tight
budget as it is..and i dont want to make
it harder on her. As for my uncles/aunts -
they have enough problems as it is..
i told my boyfriend about the options i
had and he told me it was my choice and
that he would support me in whatever i
did.
as for his parents..well..they arnt as
strict as mine..but they would be pretty
disapointed and they would probably tell
my parents..
and i really want to finish high school
(hopefully valedictorian) and go far in my
sports...at times i feel i want this
baby..and at other times..i feel i should
finish my goals first..

yes children definately make you give up a
big part of your life but dont ever think
that just because if you had a baby ou
would have to stop living your life
you COULD finish school. many teen mothers
do
and dont feel like ypour life will be
taken away if you have a kid
think of it as...being put n "pause"
like i said im 16 yrs old and 18 weeks 2

i wanted to have my baby and so did my bf
we felt like we were ready and willing to
bring a new life into this world
best decition i ever made! im so exited
and i cannot wait! i was scraed as hell at
first but soon enough all the scared
turned into happiness
howvere im not going to critisize you- if
abortion seems like the right thing for
you and your life right now then dont feel
bad or anything
its your choice ok? but eiether way youll
have to stick with it your whole life

You can finish high-school even if you are
pregnant. There is also the option of
adoption; you don't have to keep the
baby!!
I would go to a planned parenthood and see
what they have to say. There may be a
payment option or something for an
abortion. They may also help you talk to
your parents.

You do not need to tell your parents, you
can get a judge "bypass". This means that
you do not have to tell your parents, and
it is free.
There are abortion charities that help pay
for an abortion.

i guess keeping the baby is the only
option i have..
im just scared at what everyone is going
to say when i tell them..
i dont think im old enough for a baby just
yet..but theres always adoption i
suppose..
my parents, however...well they arnt going
to take this well at all..my dad has quite
a temper..and they dont think ive ever
even held a guys hand!
i dont wanna disapoint them..cause my
sister also left home at the age of
16...and my dad never talks to her now
and i feel that if i tell my dad about
this baby..he wont talk to me anymore..

i live in canada...so i dont need to tell
my parents about the abortion but it still

you arent alone and there are so many
places that can help
dont keep the baby if you dont want to
maybe your bf's parents will let you move
in with them? and your dad wont hurt you
will he? maybe you should go with your
sister for a few days and then call your
parents and tell them over the phone
or maybe have your sister there? you could
even tell her first since she may be able
to help since she left at a young age

my boyfriend said i could move in with him
next spring...but not any sooner..
and my dad might hurt me...cause he's hurt
my sister before once..thats why she
left...although he's never came close to
striking me since she left...
and my sister lives around 5 hours away so
i dont know how to get to her..and i
already told her about my pregnancy today
and shes the one who told me about that
cytotec thing...but i dont know what to
do!
its all just too confusing for me

well i doubt my sister will...but ill tell
my boyfriend that we should tell his
parents about this together asap.
Hopefully they wont hate me cause they
have grown to accept me as their own
daughter (our familys are really close).
the last thing i want is for them to lose
their love for me...
and then i guess i can try and get them to
come with me to tell my mother..although
she will probably go into hysterics...and
lastly my dad - thats what im most scared
about..
hopefully i can work up the courage for
this..
