37 Week Consultant Appt! Posted: 07-16-07 04:39am
Well I had my appt today and my consultant
seemed really happy with me!! Baby is
definitely head down. He thought it was
anyway but because I have had a previous
breech baby he wanted to make double sure!
Baby's head is dropping and I am 4/5
engaged!! I guessing thats
why walking has become unbearable just
lately!
He told me baby isnt that big either. Big
enough to be healthy, but all the way
through my pregnancy the midwife's were
worried I would have a big baby because I
have always been big and measured big. But
today he said theres nothing to worry
about there either.
We made an appt to see him again in 3weeks
if I go overdue so we can discuss an
induction date. Although he says he doesnt
think I will be seeing him then, he said
he reckons baby will be here over next 2
weeks!!!. I have lots of
aches and pains but I feel really happy
today after that! I love having my hosp
appts!!

Not always positive believe me!
Just pleased to hear that babys become
engaged and that something is happening.
Do you know what I mean? Every other time
I go for an antenatel everythings always
the same! I felt like I wasnt going
anywhere.
I dont really know why he thinks I'll go
before my due date but I wont complain!.
I am starting to feel constantly heavy and
I can feel the baby's lying quite low!
BH's are quite strong but then again they
have been for months! Apart from that
theres no big signs that baby might be
coming soon.
