You don't look at all small. Just quit worrying and enjoy your pregnancy. You still have 7 weeks to grow.

You actually look a little bigger to me in the pic. It may be harder for you to notice since you see yourself everyday. If you are really concerned you should ask your doctor what he thinks. Your not always going to grow at an exact rate. You may all of a sudden shoot out and then not grow again for a little bit. As long as the doc says your baba is ok I wouldn't worry.

You seem to be quite concerned with your size and talk about how small you are very often. You are not small. You are obviously pregnant.

Some women carry their babies in their back more. Some carry them all out front.

Is the baby moving normally? Is your uterus measuring on your dates? Your ultrasound was fine... so your concern that you aren't 'big enough' seems like needless worry.

If I saw you in person, I'd think you were pregnant. And you look about 7 months to me.

well compared to how large i was before i got pregnant i really haven't gotten much bigger... i even have had many ppl say i look about only 5 months pregnant when in fact i'm just about 8 months.

yes i measure correctly but that doesn't do anything for my worry, considering the first time i was measure they said i was only 22 weeks and turned out to be 28... i'm still waiting for them to do that all over again. i've only had one ultrasound and i keep wondering when my next one will be.

i understand that i DO look pregnant but seeing how everything else in my life has always found a way to be (or go) wrong i'm worried that something will be desperately wrong. i have all right to worry considering that i'm not supposed to be able to have children. So, please, next time you decided to give some one confidence take into consideration the tone that has a tendency to come through your posting with or without your knowledge.

P.S.
(full apologies if i sound b*tchy, but i feel sick, and all of my friends think i haven't grown at all)

Sometimes the bigger you are before pregnancy, the less it looks like you've 'grown'. I have a really good friend who didn't even have any idea she was pregnant until she was 6 months along! And it was because she wasn't feeling well and went to the hospital for stomach pain that she was informed she was pregnant. She never, ever looked any 'different' - even at 9 months.

Pregnancy isn't about how you look on the outside. It is about how well that baby is doing on the inside! Smile

Besides, babies shift and move all the time. One day you might look 20 months pregnant and the next day the baby will have moved down or left and you look 'flat' again.

You don't sound b_tchy at all. Next time your friends have a comment about your pregnancy, ask them when they got their obgyn degree. Smile

Hey there! I totally understand how you feel about always worrying that something may be wrong. Personally I think you look bigger in the picture than you did in the picture of two weeks ago. Maybe he's dropped a little and that could cause you to appear smaller to yourself and friends? I'm not really sure on that, because I'm no expert. Just trying to give you some confidence that everything is fine. Smile Good luck on the last 7 weeks and I hope that everything turns out great for you and your baby.

Hi! Your tummy definitely looks like it's sticking out more in the most recent picture. I'm sorry you're worrying. I hope everything works out great. It doesn't look to me from the pictures that you were "large" before getting pregnant, but if you did have extra weight on you, I think it's normal to not look as obviously pregnant as someone like, oh, .Nicole .Richie. Smile

yeah, try not to worry too much about it. if you want to do right by your baby just eat healthy and make all of your appointments. take your vitamins. read your pregnancy books. you know how to take good care of yourself and that's the best thing you can do. if there are concerns, wouldn't your doctor have mentioned them?

body shape and size makes a huge difference in how you show. you can have a long or short torso, the baby can be sticking out more or less, you can be tall or petite, you may have started out with more fat on your body and that might hide the round shape of the belly, some women have bigger or smaller boobs or wider or narrower pelvis and hips that effect how they carry their pregnant belly. i could go on and on. people are always going to make comments. today a little old lady asked me if i was having twins. i said no, just one big baby. you can't let that worry, upset or offend you or you're always going to be worried, upset and offended. there are a hundred old wives tales and false perceptions that people have about pregnancy.

do your best not to overthink it. talk to your doctor at your next appointment and mention that you are anxious about it. maybe they will send you for an ultrasound to check the baby's size. if you feel okay and baby is moving and the doctor hasn't said anything then you should do your best to relax and not put pressure on yourself to conform to someone else's idea of what your pregnant body should look like.

i know i'm being long winded but i really can sympathize because i was overweight when i got pregnant and i was so worried about how it was going to affect the baby. everything i had read said you should lose weight before getting pregnant because being overweight can do this, that and the other to the baby. there was nothing reassuring, only bad stuff. well, now i know that my weight had no negative effect and i had nothing to worry about. it's only natural to worry and no one can blame you for that but if you are taking good care of your health then that is the very best you can do.

and you DO look like you may have dropped a little. that makes a big difference. the way the baby is lying in the womb will change the size and shape of your belly. i think you look fine. you're probably not that much smaller than me and i'm huge, it just shows a lot more on me because i have small boobs and narrow shoulders.

To me it definitely looks like your baby has dropped alittle and yes it may make you think you look smaller.
When I first got pregnant I was huge really early on. At one point I had to go for tests because I was measuring 9weeks ahead of what I was! Since I have reached 33 weeks I have slowed down and caught myself up. Everyone tells me all the time that I have suddenly stopped growing. I think it might have slowed down but I am just growing differently now. I am growing rounder rather than growing outwards.
Try not to worry about it, everyone is different and everyone will look different. As long as doctors and midwifes say you and baby are fine then believe them!! Smile
