He is just so adorable. He looks pretty
big in the photos. I forgot, how big did
he initially weigh?? How is he doing
now?? Curious - is he unusually good and
tolerant of a lot more things than most
newborns? I am trying to figure out
Brian. He rarely cries, even when getting
poked by the doctor. It's nice but really
strange. I don't know if it's because
Brian has been through a lot worse, due to
his personality or if it's due to just
being tired from the whole NICU experience
and he will start to behave like typical
newborns in a few days.
Your experience must have been so
difficult. Brian was not immediately taken
from us and initially had Apgar scores of
8 and 9. About 10 to 15 minutes later, the
nurse suggested calling NICU staff back to
reassess. That is when they took Brian. I
can't imagine your experience of having
them take Tyler during the c section. That
just seems worse. Also, when Brian was in
NICU it was the longest six days of my
life. I am so thankful that the whole
ordeal is over for Tyler, you and your
family.
I can't wait to see more pictures of
Tyler.

Tyler was 9lbs 4oz at birth. I got some
realy cute at home pics today but it will
probably be a few days befor I get them up
in my flickr acct. Tyler is a screamer, he
cries at almost anything. When they were
weaning him off of his sedation meds while
he was still on the vent he would try to
cry and it would break my heart, it was a
voiceless cry. He is getting more adjusted
to his enviroment now and isn't soo fussy
but still fussy. He will have to get his 2
month shots in less than 2 weeks. I don't
look forward to that, I think he has been
stuck enough.
