Q: Opinions On Baby Arrival

Just want some opinions please. My original due date was set for July 20 (according to my last period). Well my doctor had changed it to August 20 (at the time he said I was 8 weeks instead of 12, he did a sono and exam). Well, my doctor now says that everything measures on track (my uterus and such), but the baby is above average. I have excessive swelling in my feet and ankles. So bad that I can press down with my thumb and it leaves an indention. It's horrible. She dropped last week. Who here thinks that my due dates could possibly be off and this little one will be here sooner than anticipated? Everyone keeps telling me she'll probably get here sooner (within a few weeks). Because of how my body has been reacting lately. Just curious as to what yall think.

yeah. i've been very swollen for the past month or so and my due date is next monday. it's just a lot more common in the summer months. my baby has also been really low for about that long as well. i think the early ultrasounds are pretty accurate at getting the right gestation. as for the size, they get that wrong a lot. there have been a few ladies on here that have been so worried about the big 10 lb babies their doctors were predicting and ended up having smaller babies. they tell me my baby is above average as well but not all babies can be average i guess. you won't know for sure until the baby decides to make it's appearance.

My due date is August 26th and I am super, super swollen and my baby has already dropped.

If you are concerned then just be prepared to go at anytime.

I am due August 20 and swollen as well. I have been pretty swollen for the past couple of weeks. A lot of it, I'm sure, has to do with the humidity. I have dropped a little as well too.
