They look shiny and if you look really closely you can see teeny little variagated lines running horizontally across them. When i was pregnant (I was enormous) they were about the size of the width of my little finger. Now they are barely noticable. Most of them are way down low by mu pubic bone, so the only person who will see them is the man who made me fat in the first place. I used Mother love pregnant belly salve. I don't know how well it worked, as I did get them, but not until the very end. They are, after all, the "Badge of Honor" for motherhood... Rolling Eyes

Hi
Hi Jess, I guess I was one of the lucky ones but when i got pregnant 24 years ago, I NEVER had the first stretch mark. I too was a devout use and believer in Palmers! I also used vaseline mixed with baby lotion. I just kept myself greased like a pig and drank lots of water. Not sure if this worked, but I still do not have any stretch marks! Good luck girlfriend! Cool

sounds like a marketing speach, lol.

I've had stretch marks for pretty much as long as I can remember (since I was about 12-13). but since I got pregnant, haven't found any new ones, although I'm still only 24 wks and hardly showing. My friend and sisters didn't get any new ones until the last few weeks of pregnancy because they decided to quit with their lotions. I really don't feel bad about stupid people like that...

In other words, stay loyal to your lotion!
