Mass Removed During Hernia Surgery Posted: 07-18-07 20:10pm


During my hernia surgery they had to repair 2 places and found a mass that was removed. It has been send for a biopsy, but I'm wondering what it could be. The doctor said he didn't know what it is and there is nothing to worry. Any info would ne greatly appreciated.

Could be just a noncancerous lump. Sometimes we get lumps for no apparent reason, but they can be easily removed and don't spread to other places. So no reason to worry yourself sick yet! Wait and see what the biopsy says. Let us know what it says too!
