Good Morning,

I am so frustrated these past few days. I am 30 weeks 5 days today and I am tired. I have no sleep for the past week and a half and I am so frustrated. I feel so bad though because by feeling this way i'm a bad mom. Crying or Very sad

If it's not getting up to use the bathroom every 5 minutes, it's not being to get comfortable to fall asleep, or dying of thirst, or the feeling to throw up.

I don't know what to do... I just sit up in bed for hours nodding off here and there, but then have to go to work the next morning.

I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow...I wonder what should could do for me!

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you,

Sabrina

well, i myself have never been pregnant....
but...
my friend has the same problem as you with getting comfy...
she says that if you take a body pillow and lay on your left side and prop the pillow under your belly and kinda "cuddle" with it..(thats house she put it) it's alot more comfortable and easier to fall asleep...

that's all i got.. Sad..
goodluck with the dr.

Thanks...I've tried that, but my belly hurts when I try to lay on my side. And my son kicks me...I don't think he likes it very much when I'm on my side.

Thanks for your help! Laughing

you probably shouldn't be sleeping on your back. it's not good to let all that weight from the baby rest on your inferior vena cava (i think that's what it's called) which is the main vein that brings blood back up to your lungs and heart. if it hurts to sleep on your side you can try getting a nice soft pillow and placing it under your tummy so that it supports it and it's not hanging down and pulling on your back and hip muscles. a pillow between your knees or under the top knee can help to keep your hips in line also. get lots of pillows! that's the only way i've been able to do it. seriously, i use like 6 pillows every night. i also sleep better when the room is nice and cool. if you are totally unable to sleep lying down you could always try taking all those pillows and propping yourself up and sleeping like that. i did that for the first half of my pregnancy because my heartburn and nausea were so bad. even try sleeping in a chair or on the couch if that will help. get a massage if you can possibly wrangle someone to do it. the best sleep i've gotten through this whole pregnancy was after i got a nice lower back massage but you can get a back or foot rub or whatever feels good.

a big part of it is the baby's metabolism going all the time as the baby grows. it's a normal part of pregnancy. some people swear by warm milk. some end up getting something from the doctor. you just have to make do as best you can. believe me, i'm in the same boat!

I didn't know sleeping on my back was bad. Thanks for that piece of important info.

I have tried the pillow thing, but maybe I will try it with more pillows!
Only 9 more weeks to go!

Thank you
