i had posted a topic about a month ago
asking for tips to potty train... so i
wanted to update everyone on my son's
progress. He has done exceptionally well
and although he still wears diapers to go
to bed bacuse of the fact that he needs a
cup to go to sleep with. he goes to the
potty all day long and even when we are
out he doesn't have an accident. so i am
proud to say that he was potty trained by
his 3rd birthday.. this will make it so
much easier for when the new baby comes as
well as make it cheaper lol.
The way that i got him to be potty trained
was that one day he had told me that he
had to pee so i put him on the potty and
he peed so i cheered for him to let him
know i was proud of him and from then on i
only put underwear on him besides for
bedtime. and at first he only did pee in
the potty but now he is doing poop as
well. i guess it is true what they say
about they will do it when they are ready.
I am just glad that it got done by the
time he turned 3 so that way he wouldn't
be over 3 still in diapers.
